Artist Statement
After traversing through memories, I find a sense of clarity. In this process of reconciling with myself, I have indeed experienced sadness, but as I learn to coexist with various traumas, I believe they can help me reveal a stronger and more lovable version of myself.
This painting depicts a strong and confident figure, expressing themselves in the most comfortable posture. The flowing lines of their body and muscle patterns are freely combined in a way I cherish, unbound by standards or the scrutiny of anatomy instructors. This represents my purest expression of beauty.
